Why don’t they just stop?
Ways to think and talk about addiction.

Wednesday, September 27
Brooks Memorial Library
Brattleboro, Vermont
5:30 PM – 7:00 PM
This event will be live-streamed by BCTV & cortalks.org

Why can some people quit and others cannot? Why would they choose drugs over a job or family? Don’t they care about the consequences of their choices? Shouldn’t they be responsible and accountable for their actions?

A discussion panel including local professionals in recovery and local addiction specialists will examine how chemicals affect a person’s physiology and psychology, leading to the cycle of poor choices often seen in the behavior of addicts.
